Yep I thought it’s a bit odd. I would think they have something to balance it. Didn’t bother to read everything in patch notes, but there wasn’t anything with HC or hardcore when searching the page.
Possibly they have just kinda forgotten the mode exists.
I mean it’s not just runes which you can choose, armor gems doesn’t give health regardless. I have not had the impression we have enough health without them.
We will get to that. The HC community is shrinking for sure.
Now we can get it with runes, but not much and conditional. 
They are also shrinking numbers overall, reducing 1-shotters, whatever the F that means… What do they expect us to do? Walk around with softcore-like life points and survive?
