Not even on the same ballpark. Most boxers don’t get tired of swinging their hands for two hours in a gym. Put a ballerina to spin for more than 1 min and she will literally drop. Even the best ballerinas can only do around 30 fouettes (spins) in a row. Also… yeah, Strafe looks more like Ballet, it doesn’t scream “killer.”
Wouldn’t be a good idea to take away Rogue’s Rapid Fire anyway for it’s single target value, Strafe is basically just a worse Whirlwind.

irrelevant. The point is that boxing is a similar exercise to the arm swinging you described. And ballerina spinning is a similar exercise to the strafe spinning.
Definitely, but some things suspend disbelief better than others.
its a fun skill i was surprised to see they didnt bring it to d4.
im playing that on d3 right now.
i guess they didnt want tooo much spin to win and the barb’s spin to win is the more iconic one.

D2 strafe is not the same as D3 strafe. D2 was an auto target rapid fire. You would line enemies up and let the arrows pierce. D3 was spinning stupidity.

I rather keep a proper single target spender then get a discount bin whirlwind tyvm.
