So I got my main to lv 100 (In Season) already geared it can clear up to tier 90 and decided to start and alt only to find out that renown does not carry over between alts. Why would it carry over in eternal and not in season? This makes zero sense. Does blizzard not want me to play for the rest of the season?
Because seasons are a fresh start. Your eternal alts also have access to all the gold, mats, obols, and items your main has collected. Season gets none of that, so you have to build your wealth again.
Wow really…
I just made a character to see for myself…
Thats so fricking horrible I am astounded god damn what a crap company.
EDIT: We misunderstand. Its working as expected. +10 for Bagboy he was right.
Bliz is still a crap company but not because of this particular thing.
Renown didnt carry over in eternal too only the rewards which it does in seasonal too
Oh no way! really? OMG I wish I had known this even after playing 28 seasons of Diablo 3.
I’m already, lv 100 in the seasonal realm and all classes 100 on the eternal realm.
I started a new alt in season after. I already maxed out renown in season, and it does not carry over to any other seasonal toons you make.
amazing how god damn inept this community is.
WTF does that even mean
no it does NOT!
You misunderstand he is level 100 in SEASON.
Jesus dood, that’s a lot of lvl 100 toons. Go touch some grass.
Season is a different sever than Eternal Realm.
This has to be a mistake/bug. In D3 in seasons you shared everything between alts surely that has to be the case in this game as well? If not it has to be fixed like yesterday. Gonna roll an alt right now to check this.
This doesn’t make sense, when unlocking level 5 renown rewards for instance, it said it is unlocked on all characters for this realm, since I’m on season, I’d assume that would be for all characters on seasonal realm?
Is that not the case? Lol that would be moronic.
Some people really need to learn to read…
I’m already 100 in the seasonal realm, with maxed out renown. Please read the entire thread.
I must be missing something in your post. I just went in created a new alt on the seasonal server and it shows the same renown as I’ve unlocked already on my main S1 character.
Yeah it is, that is exactly what is going on. even after doing renown in season, it does not carry over into any new season alts. Which is very stupid.
Only 2 people understand what’s going on… lol
Not for me, the renown is reset back to what it was when I started season. Just altars of lilith, full map, and waypoints. All the dungeons, strongholds and sidequests are reset.
Love the emote usage you smug *** *****.
It doesn’t carry over in eternal either. Keep up.
I just rolled an alt to check this and you are absolutely right. This just plain garbage! Who the hell wants to play an alt when you have to do everything all over again? All I got was the map and the Lilith statues I’ve found. For God’s sake Blizzard who is in charge here? Do you know anything at all about Diablo games?
It does, you just don’t get the bonus xp and gold. Paragon skill points, obols and paragon points carry over between alts.
Guess some people just dont play the game enough, or only had one character this whole time lol
Your renown should carry over from your main to your alt in S1. If it doesn’t it’s a bug.
It worked this way in Eternal.
You get the rewards like potions, skill points, paragon, etc but the actual completion progress makes it look like you don’t. This is so you can do the quests again if you want.
Also the map fog returns on your alt.
Did you check to see if you actually received the rewards on you alt? LIke extra skill points and potions? You should have them.
I read you post and I understand. You however need to understand how Season works. It takes into considering the most progress eternal realm character. Not the Season character.
Yup, none of the renown rewards carried over just the altars of lillith, map completion and waypoints. I created 4 alts same thing on all 4 of them.
