Vulnerability is one of the worst mechanics I have seen in an ARPG. It’s integrated to skills and all of a sudden enemy has cracking purple tint HP bars. Then you get 20% more damage for certain duration. This is so bad, the activation comes out of nowhere and then there is no feeling of some WOW factor same issue for players when they get vulnerable, don’t know in the chaos which attack from which enemy makes you get vulnerable.
Please remove this annoying mechanic, it doesn’t provide any use and forces builds to be centered around applying vulnerable status.
Enemies in CC during CC duration should take more damage, same for player so now player knows ice, stun attacks, slow attacks from enemies can make you in a state that makes you take more damage and we can see such attacks from enemies and try to avoid it.
Every class also has CC in many skills so just stunning, freezing, slowing makes enemies take more damage. This is very clear and easy to understand and simplify the formula.
For a game that encourages build experimentation, respec is a complete opposite of this spirit. Stop punish players for testing and experimenting with builds. Remove respec costs this is not at all required The audience is ultra casual, at this point you gotta accept it and stop catering the 0.000000001% gate keepers.
