Remove Overpower Damage rolls on classes that can't overpower

Pretty much what the title says, why can rogues even roll this on items? Quite sure Sorc falls under this too.

It serves 0 purpose as rogues have no way to overpower but from the 3% passive, but that’ll never be enough to create a build.

It just dilutes the loot pool even further, and just causes frustration for players that would’ve had an otherwise fine item bar from being forced to roll away overpower damage, which can end up causing issues if there’s another undesirable stat on there.

“But… But… It could be useful for other classes?” I hear you say…

First off, what other classes? If I roll 80% Overpower Damage on a CROSSBOW. Who’s gonna use that as it’s rogue specific? Same thing with rogue-specific armor?

Secondly, even if I did get an armor drop that can be equipped on other classes… You think I have the stash space for that? I barely have stash space for 1 character, let alone more class-specific aspects… And hearts.

Thats an “awesome stat” +89% overpowered damage. Me as a filth, unwashed peasant rogue thinking: Woahh such much great numberz. Me haz to git this instead of crit damitsch & vulneribble.

Rolling for columb… erm stats at the occultist is the most fun and last one will ever have.

I have saddend myself again. I will do the worldboss now… crying a bit.

Remove overpower completely. Together with half of the stats/mechanics because those make the itemisation into the fail that it is now.

For some classes I can understand, but for Rogues? It makes 0 sense

It makes 3% sense. :stuck_out_tongue:

not saying you are wrong, but i would check the glyphs and boards, aspects to make and unique to make sure there isn’t a overpower build in there.

If not than this should be addressed for sure.

So far every class seems to have at least one way to do everything. some just are class better at certain ones, in the skill tree i think.

:person_shrugging: Yet to study this tbh, but yeah if rogue basically cant use overpower, it being on bows especially since now one else can use them, is kinda silly.

Edit - Yeah had a look, cant see any reason on rogue why overpower is rolling on rogue only items.

Only guess could either at one point classes could use bows or a class that is coming.

Or Have not looked yet, Is there a reason a rogue in the team situation would want overpower, Since another class makes them open to overpower damage.

If so this could also be the reason, team combo minmaxing.

:person_shrugging: probably a stretch on that last one though.
