Hardcore is meant to be hard, and having mounts is just a crutch so weak players can skip content out in the world. Remove this safety blanket, make Diablo 4 more hardcore.

Hardcore is a bit of a joke as is I have three characters all around 40 and the only time I seem to be at risk of dyeing is when the server lags.
Does hardcore completely erase everything, or leave stash stuff when death occurs? If the ladder then it’s not hardcore enough.
You only lose what’s equipped and in the inventory of that character.
You keep all your Gold all learned Legendary aspects and everything in stash.

That isn’t very hardcore either. You should lose everything.
Including your account and you should have to buy another copy of the game.

Riding around on that crappy design of a mount is actually a challenge.
I think Blizz should remove one of every players’ legs while in hardcore. Now that will make it hard for sure.

Maybe lose an equipment slot every 10 levels?
