So you account bound the item by tempering and/or masterworking?

i fully agree. Failed most master works. rerolling 5+ times in a row. for most items… each reroll 5 mil. THEN they screw us over by having whispers time gated…It hurts =[

100% agree. It’s just absolutely NO fun to farm gold for using basic mechanics of the game… 7m gold for learning the level 90 health potion is just ridiculous…
This should cost nearly nothing. It’s the absolute basis of the game that you can heal yourself, wtf.

And systems like enchanting should be useful too without having hundreds of million gold.

Blizzard makes the same mistake with balancing difficulty: people use overpowered meta builds → blizzard makes content difficult → “normal” players say it’s too hard.

People earn hundreds of million gold from trading → blizzard makes things expansive → people who not trade suffer because they can’t use basic systems of the game.

2 days ago I sold and item for 700m gold on diablo trade website. Also, if you put movement speed affixes/temp/aspects on boots and amulets, you can fly on open world and do hundreds of gold per hour on tree of whispers missions.

Gold sink complaining is more about entitled or lazy ppl that want everything handed to them.

The idea that a game without player trading don’t need an economy, or so-called gold sinks, is a bit absurd.

You can have an economy in a single player game.
How much gold you can generate, vs. how much you spend, is an obvious part of such an economy.

The players have extremely different views.
I am not sure the devs got any views at all. They seem completely visionless.

The thing with “opposite views” is funny
I never found anything else in my life where people had sooo different opinions on things since D4 arrived.
But I think it’s natural… people are just different.

Sir I have made 2.9 billion gold from casually trading my finds from Helltide Maiden, which I do for fun. What do you mean there is no economy? Go to the trade website and enjoy. It is incredibly easy to post, I have had zero troubles with security or scams, etc and I’m really only selling 2+ GA items, which I get ~1-2+ per helltide easy, if not more.

now I want 100lv character at start and fully built gears without even touch the game.

sick of ppl like you saying sh*t like this, we are just complaining one single point in game, suddenly we become lazy ppl?
face it gold farming is boring, no one want to do whisper when your build strong enough to swimming in the pit.

lol remove gold or reduce prices by 99%.

OP just wants to play without any effort, risk, cost of anything…

Which is constantly having problems… so ya not a decent suggestion. The real solution to this is to have EVERYTHING for the ONLINE MULTIPLAYER game they created in the GAME like it should be.

As an alternative to removing the other from the game’s basic processes, would you say it’s better to remove the gold and make materials scarcer or leave it as is and make the basic mechanics even easier?

u mean like 2-3 days on the start of each season to adapt to thousand of new items and systems ? yea realy thats the issue here

and yea ingame would be better but thats not the point of the thread atall cause u cant do it atm and right now this site is the go to for trading

You shouldnt have to go to a third party website to trade. They just need add an in-game auction house, problem solved, yer welcome.

They should add auction house. I don’t have time to use 3rd party shady sites, especially on console. People don’t have time to check if something is worth selling or not, just put it and wait if someone buys. Even mods to D2 have browser site linked to account, so you can show your gear for sell. In D4 there’s nothing. I sell everything to vendor, don’t care about item value, there’s no official way of trading in this game, anyway and you can’t sell the only thing, which is obviously expensive - uber uniques and everything is stupidly inflated. Gold should come in 100-1000s during endgame, why drops in hundred thousands and trading in billions? Why everything in this game has such inflated numbers? In D2 we were finding single flawless gem, now they throw at you hundred shards and you suppose to be excited about that? Good currency could have been sparks or masterworking shards, maybe gems (if added as crafting part in the future), maybe other rare mats. Why I would even need billions if I don’t trade? I am not fixated on min maxing too, so I don’t have reroll everything and reset every masterwork, money is completely useless to me. I would rather get mats for masterworking to save time.

When its working you meant to say…

Remove legs from the game. We don’t need them. We can just roll around and collect loot.

Nobody wants to pay 200mil. We want gold for masterworking. Nor paying that price when it could temper brick.
Request denied Get a clue lol
If your items so GG , why arnt U using it. Have a spare GG 3 ga already huh. Lol
