Can we have a butcher either removed or nerfed please?
It’s very frustrating to be killed by him constantly. He does couple times more damage then other elites & bosses and he’s also harder to kill then a boss.
I understand that dev team wanted to create surprise event during dungeon however this is like getting uber boss during normal dungeon. I’m not prepared for this and I keep dying all the time to Butcher.
Please do something with this.

Really? I have way more trouble with the blood seeker invasions. I can face tank the butcher when he comes, but one wrong misstep and the blood seekers will delete my health in an instant.
From 1 to 100 I only ran into him 3 times and he was an joke each encounter.
I imagine they already drastically reduced the times you see him as I played 2 weeks on eternal at launch and a good chunk of s1, used to seeing him much, much more.

if one thing should be nerfed it’s not the butcher
but the ghosts and corpse bow. (though maybe they were balanced already ? i haven’t touched S2 much yet)
other than these , i think all is fine and on the contrary , some monsters should get tougher.
Nobody messes with the king of barbarian.
Removal or nerf is not needed. Instead, they should make him drop a little better items.
i wish and hope some day down the road they add the nemsis system (from playstation), if you die to anything - everyone on your friends list could get envaded by a nemsis and if your friend kills it, you and your friend get some items in your mailbox. It’s pretty cool since each time a nemsis kills your friend, it gets harder and harder until 10 times and i think it resets to easy again.

I only seen him once this season and it makes me sad lol. I like fighting him it’s scary
I don’t need or want him removed but I WOULD like his repeatable barrier toned down.

One of the best things in the game. Blizzard should add much more random stuff to dungeons.

Should Butcher be more rewarding? Yeah probably.
The Butcher is basically an inside joke for those of us who played Diablo 1 some twenty-five years ago. He’s hilarious and I don’t want him to go anywhere. He’s also aspirational content and an awareness check in HC. Long live The Butcher!!
His barrier is kind of annoying to break through, but I think the bigger problem is that he drops pocket lint when killed. We don’t need any broke butchers.
