I’ve spend 4.5B and 6K angel breath on rolling an amu, couldn’t get +2 exploit with my rogue. Won’t farm another 20 hours to get the same result, I am out…
Pls change weight afifixes to all be equal for nexts seasons.
I don’t mind that one affix is rarer than others. But this statistic must be described somewhere, perhaps in the occultist. Today I feel cheated.
I wouldn’t mind if that was less punishing. Ain’t no fun to farm 20 hours helltides for nothing, at this point this is stupid. If they thought i’d play longer a season beacause of this, they wrong, i’d rather invest time in a game where i can progress.
What is with all the victim nonsense? How exactly were you cheated?
When I’m going to roll an affix. 50% of them are health or main status. Why do they have different weights? equals??
This is cheating. Not having fair information. When you go to a prize draw you know the chance of winning. If I want to bet on Real Madrid winning I know the risk of the chance of success.
Who is cheating, lol? You already know there is a low chance of getting what you want. The victim mindset over a silly video game is so weak.
Without the weighted rolls everyone will have perfect gear and come to the forums complaining there’s nothing to do. The system is designed to prolong the amount of the time the player spends in the game because of the lack of end game content. It’s a tough system to balance because if the player satiates all the desired affixes the player is left with nothing to chase. Prolong the process and make it unforgiving as it currently is, alienates the player.
You discover this by losing a lot of gold. A casual person takes a 2 GA item from the amulet and thinks he will find 2 more in the passives, but that never happens. Like I said, I don’t care about the system. I just would like to know the chance of it coming to life maximum and the chance of a cooldown reduction.
You should already know that with all of the available choices, getting the ones you want will be very low. How wouldnt you know this?
Yeah their philosophy is basically assuming you will not quit d4 so they keep making the grind longer and longer…
I mean wtf if I’m bored I’m just gonna quit, may not even come back in some cases…
I LOVE the 0.87% chance Blizzard so graciously gave us at finding/enchanting +skill points, and 3% chance for CDR.
Are you guys telling me you’re not having fun™?
/s
Some affixes seems to be making up to 1/3 of my actual rerolls so yeah, it doesn’t matter how many are there if they are all weighted.
There could be 2 choices and they would make it 99 and 1%.
That’s not the issue. I don’t play meta, so rarer affixes are not always my goals. The problem is life per second having a 5000% chance of appearing at attack speed. The weights are clearly not the same.
Because the game wasn’t transparent enough to indicate that he’s better off grinding for an amulet that already has the passive on it, because amulet has the most affixes.
wow u must have the mindset of the devs, trying to keep players not by coming up with content but by rigging the system.
Your 2 GA ammy that doesn’t already have the passive on it is probably going to cost a lot to get the passive when you enchant. It’s a lot easier to find an ammy without the passive on it than to find one with the passive already on it, so it makes sense that it’s harder to get the passive by enchanting.
It turns out that it’s actually probably worth it to farm gold to enchant a 2 GA ammy to get the passive vs hunting for it as a drop, but you have to figure on spending like 100 rolls to get there.
how is it not?
the affix rolls have always been pure rng. early in the season, i didn’t know they rigged it and spent hundreds of millions trying to roll away max life. i thought it was just bad luck/rng without knowing they rigged it with weights under the hood. did they inform the players?
simple question, r u for or against this weighted rng?
Peace out… Better luck next time
Agreed. There is little reason to not state the probability for each option.
Leaving it unsaid only invites conspiracy. Yes, some people would continue to believe whatever nonsense suited them but that is not a reason to hide the odds.
The design would benefit from transparency.
Thats the reason I spent 500m bought a necklace with GA on Cooldown reduction. As you almost wont get one drop by farming. The chance to get one from other player who doesn’t need it is much higher.
