no shako for you ever and L take on why trading should be allowed it will only fuel the 3rd party sales thats 100% why its a dumb idea
archangel doesnt have friends, this is well known.
cant really expect to persuade him when his tism wonāt allow him to communicate with others.
I would do the opposite and make all items account bound, or maybe even character bound.
Every item that affects the game should have to be earned by the player who uses it.
Looks like Linx from yesterday has something to tell you todayā¦
The magic of time travel!!!
Sell it to someone who is buyingā¦everyone knows what those sites are for.
please! and THANK YOU! (sorry keeping up with the theme of the request) heh
They only way I would agree with removing account bound is if they add ābind on tradeā instead.
in ARPG balancing, your character is expected to have certain gear stats at certain lvl/stage of the game. Say the game expect you to have certain amount of dps and tankiness at lvl 70 and balance lvl 70 monster around that.
When trading is implemented well, your character will have access to way more items than just your loot and the game will have to balance around that.
So what does that mean? tldr It means a HUGE NERF to the loot we can get right now.
This is because, without trading, we are expected to get what we need ONLY from our loot. When trading is accessible to everyone, they expect you to be trading and get good gears from that. Think about how many times you get items with stats that is good for other builds but not yours. All those gears are now expected to be traded to other players. To keep things balanced, your loot will be nerfed greatly so you wonāt have so many good stuff for other players. This also mean you will get less good gears for yourself because they expect you to get some from other players. Also, like it or not, you are forced to trade at that time.
In summary, no trading = more and better loot, still RNG heavy on specific unique/aspect; trading enabled = less and worse loot, forced trading, āguaranteedā uniques with long enough grinding (or R**)
they should disable all types of trading since they introduce character instanced loot.
i d also like to explain why :
the game is mostly about grinding items if u make it to a point where u can just trade for them (like for an alt char) while ur main makes alot of gold u would speed throw progression and be done with that character in like 2h cause there is no reason to play anymore since u already have god like equip
also hard no for any kind of unique - main reason are uber uniques - if they are excluded or actually included in the game(increase drop chance) i d be more up to that idea
i think tho a better implementation would be to keep trading restriction as is BUT make it possible to trade any item to ur group memebers for like 2h after the drop
Pretty sure they are doing this to combat RMTās selling people items. Thank the people that are too lazy to farm items and would rather toss their credit card at some gold farmer instread.
You can now. The current expansion has a new Work Order system that lets a crafter make BoP items, including using soulbound mats, for a price to sell to others.
The system has flaws and is clunky still, but you can sell high end crafts now. You just canāt sell it on the open market as a free for all sort of thing. It has to be through the Work Order system.
Not their job. CS handles tickets for Billing, Account access, etc. Some minor GM tasks for WoW. Hacks is the team who handle anti-cheat.
The flood of bots will never end and the countries where they are based, are outside the reach of US law. The countries where they used to be made and COULD be reached by law - Blizzard won multiple multi million dollar lawsuits against bot makers.
Really though, the easiest way to stop RMT third party sites using a gameās intellectual property for monetary gain - make the currency and items non-tradeable. That cuts it WAY down. Leaves them with āservicesā or selling accounts which is very very risky and usually gets the account banned eventually.
The concept that people think they are entitled to sell intellectual property they donāt own, in a game they donāt own, for real life money is just mind boggling to me.
We donāt need PoE here.
We donāt need players running ahead because they are using some 3rd party marketplace to buy their items. And while it doesnāt really matter to be ahead in a game which is mostly meant to be played alone, when people get together to talk about their experience, it is good to know that those who have gotten far, have done it with their own commitment.
Everyone is in the same boat and they all start off from the same zero and go from there without the intervention from anyone, other than yourself.
Blizzard has granted your wish. All BoA items on your character and in your inventory have been deleted.
That is an exploit and is fundamentally against how seasons work. What you have in a past season should NEVER carry over to any future season! By doing this you are defeating the purpose and gaining an advantage over other people. Itās clear exploiting, unethical, and outside of the mechanics of the game.
no MR Gold seller lmao
That sounds like a Blizzard excuse to me.
Again, the game was rushed. The developers even talked about it last year that they were overworked trying to deliver the game on time. It wasnāt ready.
WT4 feels bad because of this.
A minimum viable product (MVP) is a version of a product with just enough features to be usable by early customers who can then provide feedback for future product development. A focus on releasing an MVP means that developers potentially avoid lengthy and (possibly) unnecessary work.
Thatās Blizzardās bread and butter.
Either that or just remove trading altogether. Thereās no point in it when the only items worth trading for are all account-bound and I canāt trade materials.
Explain to me⦠how this is different from having a friend that wants my BER rune that I am not using, so he can make a paladin⦠while I play my Sorc.
Then⦠in the future⦠lets say season 3⦠He finds a Shako and I ask for it.
Simple minds may struggle to understand this⦠but thats how communities form. This ONLINE game is supposed to be PLAYED with others.
Making friends⦠performing favors⦠gearing guildies⦠is how the community survives. You thinking it is an exploit makes you an idiot. Its the purpose of the game. The only reason we used a 3rd party site, is the game manufacturer didnt make it in their own game. They could⦠still can.
What you are arguing for is called āSolo self foundā its a game mode played by people who want to make the challenge much harder and longer. This is great fun and I would recommend. But to make the new Diablo 3.5 immortal game⦠and call it the most massive online game where picking up groups and trading have never been easier⦠is a lie and false marketing.
You are wrong. Wallow in shame.
where though are you trading your rares? in town? or a 3rd party site
