Remake the druids with a healthy body weight

I understand this topic may affect most players on this forum and quite possibly a majority of people at blizzard, please keep it respectful.

We, the undersigned players and enthusiasts of your fantastic game, kindly request a change in the character design for druids within the game. Our goal is to advocate for a healthier representation of druid characters by making them appear skinny rather than obese.

While we understand the importance of creativity and diversity in character designs, we firmly believe that promoting healthier body types can have a positive impact on players’ perceptions and attitudes towards their own bodies and health. We acknowledge that obesity is a complex and sensitive issue, and we want to address it responsibly by ensuring that our beloved game promotes a healthier outlook.

By portraying druids with a slimmer physique, we aim to emphasize the importance of well-being and physical health in a fun and engaging manner. A thinner character model would not only fit within the game’s lore but also contribute to a more inclusive and responsible gaming experience.

Our intention is not to body shame or stigmatize any body type, but rather to encourage a positive representation of characters within the game that aligns with the values of health and wellness.

We understand that character design decisions are subject to multiple considerations, including artistic freedom and player feedback. However, we hope that you will take this petition into account as you continue to enhance and develop the game for the enjoyment of players around the world.

Please consider our request to make the druid character model skinny, as it can play a small but meaningful role in promoting healthier attitudes and choices among gamers.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

(Please note that this petition aims to be respectful and sensitive to the topic of body image while advocating for a healthier representation in the game’s character designs.)

How about we get proper character customization across the board.

I really dislike all the options across the board. I’d like to have some real choices.

INB4 “they have the body of a healthy power lifter”.

I’m surprised we actually get to have chad rogue and barb body types.

Nah, I’m not upset by this thread one bit. I’m a bit overweight still but I been doing tons of yard work or what I’d call man work. The more physical exercise you do the better you look and feel. I’ve lost weight and am pretty solid compared to a year ago.

The issue is that Druids live in a world where they are running around fighting demons 24/7 aka exercising 10x as much as me. The class should be lean and mean but it looks like it sits at McDonalds all day. It’s sad they designed druid this way.

Druids are actually not obese if you see them naked. They do have higher body fat.

Activision Blizzard needed that ESG rating boost, hence why we got current druid body type.

A Chubby Rogue is much funnier in my mind.

I agree with the topic at hand though, we definitely need body sliders.

Just like the limitation with stash tabs. Blizzard in their infinite wisdom decided that making armor not adjust in size is easier. These limitations are starting to pile up and show just how little thought, other than $$, they put into this game.

Yeah, I think that is exactly it.

The thought was obviously: What is the bare minimum we can do to get these features in the game so we can advertise them.

With all due respect, they have more important things to work on.

I agree, but that doesn’t mean this shouldn’t be worked on at all.

Okay so I assume we also want curvy models not be curvy anymore as it can play a small but meaningful role in promoting healthier attitudes and choices?

Doesn’t sound right mate, just a thought.

I think it’s important to maintain a fantasy of good health and positive life choices. I work hard to stay ripped on a daily basis my druid should as well.

Well I think some heavy weight people really care of their lifestyle and would be glad not only seeing thin and skinny people / character.
Some of them may cannot change their physical health because their weight is more related to some kind of illness.

There are even actors and singer which are overweight but do we want them to leave their place for some skinnier ones?
Not sure if my comparison is fine but I just think it sounds weird.

Bold of you to speak for the playerbase… since only 6 people “liked” your post, but it was viewed by 144 people, then only 4.17% (at the time of this comment) agree with you… they’re pixels on the screen so to get this worked up over how a cartoonish game character appears on your screen is a bit weird… My druid is in bear form 90% of the time… a skinny bear is unhealthy… what then?

No. 20 chars limited.

Stupid post

no thanks
