Regular Dungeons are same XP as Level 40 Nightmare Dungeon. Wtf are you doing Blizzard?!

Champion’s Demise just gave me 650k xp for completion and a level 40 Feral’s Den Nightmare Dungeon just gave me 720k xp.

Is this what you want us to do instead of running regular dungeons with half the stress?
I am struggling to continue nightmare dungeons because I can just run Regulars over and over with 1/10 of the brain power.

REMOVE OR INCREASE THE XP CAP. Why am I being restricted because you can’t create fun endgame loops so the grind to 100 is the only food we plebians ever get to eat.

The BEST way to level 100 was to not sleep during the first week that way the game could be done.

Monster density decreased, Ruins nerfed down the toilet, very few uniques, not enough bank space, cannot save builds in any way so you must save up all the aspects and gear then switch over, world bosses are such a pathetic joke it isn’t even funny, Nightmare dungeons waste of time for sweat involved, mobile game interface, Helltides are less dense then a two leaf twig, Legion decent but get’s repetitive fast, No clan battles, No clan mega-dungeons, No good bosses expect for level 100 Lillith boss which only 0.01% of players will kill, No community, ABSOLUTELY NO IN GAME MARKET, PVP absolutely beyond busted in current state and will never be fixed in your words, Gold will be heavily botted because it’s only thing with value.

WHAT HAPPENED BLIZZARD?

I don’t know why they’re throttling player experience like it’s a MMO.

Sigils need WAY better rewards they are not worth doing right now

They clearly don’t want anyone to have fun. It is by design.

They got our money. Millions of copies sold. The game is already a success. They don’t have to do anything else.

If the playerbase dies, they don’t have to pay their devs anymore. They already won. It’s like selling stock at the absolute peak.

Would also be amazing if sigils would open up a nightmnare portal with wich you can go dirrectly to the dungeon to not waste time on moving to them, esspecially nice for me since i have severe stuttering in the open world but not in dungeons^^

If they want it to be more MMO and community like that is fine, but focus on creating good endgame content with fun gameplay loops. Not a constant depressing grind to 100 that only makes you feel disgusted that it’s finally over.

I would hate to feel forced to do nightmare dungeons because they give more exp. Leave it how it is

I’ve been farming NM dungeons 2-3 levels higher than me, which does give you better exp than normal dungeons.

But still, didn’t realize NM dungeons don’t give you any bonus exp on their own. Guess I’ve been doing it wrong, lol.

But don’t you think harder content should reward better rewards? It seems weird the best way to get xp is to do the worst, least challenging content in the game?

I get a much higher item level average from higher level dungeons.

A normal dungeon is mostly 500-650 ilvl, with a couple of mediocre ancestral items thrown in.

When I do a tier 35, almost every rare that drops is a higher level ancestral item. Same for legendary items.

Nightmare dungeons do give rewards regular dungeons don’t give. Maybe experience wasn’t the point of the dungeons.

The grind would be fine if they ramped up the amount of combat involved. Too much time is spent walking and trying to deal with the mount while avoiding the skeletons with the walls in the way of the most optimal pathing. They are purposefully trying to slow you down. Diablo Immortal had way more mob density. It was smaller overall but the mobs were literally everywhere.

How can you say they want it to be more MMO driven but not include basic social aspects into their game outside of a 150 member clan?

I don’t know what they were doing here. I’m still having fun, but it’s not an ARPG or a MMO. It’s hardly Diablo. I wasn’t expecting much for endgame given Season 1 will be out in a month, but what we have now feels very weird.

At first I was fine with a slower leveling experience. It just meant end game started a bit earlier and i would start working on farming my gear, leveling would just be a consequence of that gear grind.

Unfortunately these weird stats and lack of 90-100 tier gear means i pretty near max out my gear before i even hit 90. Im holding out hope they are just holding back content.

The ONLY thing they reward is glyph leveling, that is meaningless because you can just wait to farm NM dungeons at Level 95+ and level the glyphs in half the time because you can do much higher NM dungeons. So NM is a waste of time pre lvl 90 Imo.

From an efficiency point of view. Yeah. Sounds like it. But if you just want to have the extra challenge you have that option to do a nightmare dungeon.

What level are you though? 90?

The nightmare dungeons can give slightly more experience in same cases. The problem is you need a key to run it. If you don’t have 20 to 30 of the same key, then you need to start a new nightmare dungeon and travel all the way to it.

That travel time is basically a second normal dungeon run that you could have done. Add in the fact that nightmare dungeons could potentially be slower due to affixes and you could run three normals in the time it takes to travel to a nightmare dungeon and complete it.

83 As WW Barb. Been loving the build even if it’s been dragged through the gutter.

Well you answered your own question why a T40 nightmare sigil gave you limited XP then.

But shouldn’t more challenging content be rewarded with consistently more xp per hour? This whole thing seems backwards lmao, just weird. Why is the harder content giving less xp per hour? BECAUSE SCALING SUCKS.
