Never had this issue before today. However, twice, after teleporting to town or back to a dungeon, the game “disconnects” and kicks me to the character selection screen. Up in the corner it says “Trial Account” and won’t allow me to log into any of my characters.
Once I close D4 and relaunch from the Battle.net Launcher, I can log back in with no issues.
Couple troubleshooting things I’ve checked:
I am streaming a live audio broadcast at the same time, so unless any internet interruption is shorter than the buffer of my radio, but long enough that D4 has an issue, I haven’t noticed any other disconnections.
All drivers are up to date.
Default settings in the battle.net launcher for background downloads, etc…
As of right now, I don’t see any specific reason for the issue. Will update if it continues or gets better…
A known problem. Unsure if they’re working on a fix or not. Disconnects way to frequent and have been around since day 1. Unsure why it’s not fixed by now
This has happened to me Mid Vault run, always after I get the key to open the final door. Has happened mid fight each time at least 4 times since Season Launch. Until this season it has never happened.
Same damn thing keeps happening to me and it just started today. Its almost like these people dont play their own damn game to experience these problems themselves. Middle of a vault run and this happens. Can’t go back to my run so the 4 pearls are lost to never be recovered as well as the time put into it.
I’m sorry that’s happened to you guys as well, but in a weird way I’m glad it’s not just me. Means I don’t have to keep fiddling with settings and troubleshooting more.
Some good news though. After posting last night, I had no more disconnects until I logged out. We’ll see how tonight goes.
