After the change, or while its trying to download?
I got waiting on another update but there isnt anything. Going on 15mins.
With that, just exit the launcher and restart it. Make sure it closes. If in doubt, check the task manager or better yet restart windows (choose restart, not shut down)

Yeah, thatâs what I was thinking from what you said too, which is why I had posted to try to expand on it.
BTW, thanks for the save on that other thread, my brain wasnât working well at 2am for the bnet compatibility mode thing. I knew it, but I wasnât getting it out there right. lol
Why is this always like this during patches? This is the most expensive game ive ever bought, im stuck at initializing and now i just finished the 90gb download of Guildwars 2, its still stuck.

I have the same problem. It has been this way for over a month. The download limit change to 999999 and disabling acceleration does nothing. I used a friends VPN and it fixed it. Unfortunately he is away nowâŚ
Seriously buggy. Really poor experience for such a high price game
If using a VPN fixed it, then your ISP is likely throttling your download speed for large files. There are several free VPN options out there if your friend is still away.
