Friend and I are in same guild his Xbox game pass just expired and now he cannot party in game that he paid for!!! Why is Xbox screwing peeps? Sorry to edit but now it seems he cannot even chat without game pass or xbox live yearly!! WTF is going on? Console players have to play to party PC players?

It’s been like this in every online game in the history of Xbox and PlayStation. You have to pay for the online subscription service to party online.

On PS you need PS plus on Xbox you need live or game pass. This is nothing new and nothing limited to xbox.
Not that D4 is on Switch but even Nintendo does this now.
