Hi,
my current worn Razorplate had over 17500 thorns before the patch.
After the patch my Razorplate has 0.0 of the new affixes, 0.0 thorns, only the new unique
power.
With the patch the Razorplate should be updated with 4 thorn affixes and a unique power.
My current Razorplate is completely useless and broken at the moment.
That could not be intended?!
It is what is is. My Xfal deals 0 damage. The old Razorplate didn’t have any affix but the aspect of having thorn. That aspect got changed so that’s what’s left.
You mean the now legacy razorplate, acquired prior to season 4? Well, most of that legacy loot is obsolete now.
None of my uniques changed in that brutal and unacceptable way that leads to a broken item.
For example:
Tibault´s Will unique power DMG boost dropped from 40% to 20%
My Xfal ring stats are still the same, btw.
In my opinion, it would work as intended, if the (old) Razorplate get the new 4 thorn affixes in the ammount of the number of thorns the old Razorplate had.
Old Razorplate : 17500 thorns
New Razorplate: 17500 thorns : 4 new affixes = 4375 ( or even lower) per affix.
That would be acceptable.
I’m saying blizzard is too lazy to retroactively change all Unique at once that why we got a dumb down Legacy Razorplate. Blizzard could of just left the old Legacy effect as it was.
All legacy items needs to go and then temper or masterwork them (equivalent to legacy upgrades)
That takes a lot of current and new mats. Which means a lot of farming.
Example, i found new selig before masterworking it is much weaker than my legacy one. It takes either 2nd/3rd stage mw for it to be better than old selig

Also, Bone Golems no longer do Thorns? Did Blizz just want to nerf Thorns builds to the dumpster?
That’s because minions now gain 100% of necro’s thorn. Got to give a little, then take a little for “balance.”
I would be fine if it dropped less thorns but should give some type resistance or healing cover up fact that you have to be hit.
Just break it down and move on. I’m breaking down all my Legacy items so I don’t get attached. They won’t last forever in any case.
