I’m looking to possibly upgrade my Alienware laptop with a 3070 to a Blade 16 w/ a 4090. Just curious if anyone has one, or is running a similar build w/ a 4090 laptop GPU that can give me feedback on how the game performs. I generally average 100fps on 1080p w/ settings at high/ultra but the fans are ripping however it gets quite hot w/ the GPU pulling 90w-95w. Is this worth the upgrade?

D4 is probably the worst game to test on this set up at the moment given that they just shadow disabled DLSS and Frame Generation still is broken for at least 1 month. Assuming your CPU is ok, which if you had a 3070 probably a 12-13 gen. You should be maxed on graphics except for textures. I am not sure a computer exists that SHOULD run textures on Ultra because of how broken the texture swapping to the page file is.
I don’t get it. I turned everything to the lowest setting and I’m still pulling 80w-85w on GPU, 50w-60w on CPU w/ a temp of around 100. What am I doing wrong or is this just a limitation of CPU/GPU. I’m running an 11th gen i9.
