Ray Tracing will it really matter

Nice that they are going to add more HD clutter, however if it always seems to be night time your not going to see it so does it really matter, regardless maybe address this randomization of the night day thing with at on off setting option.

I play on low settings cuz my PC is dusty af and it’s hot where I’m at.

You’re a little late to the party, by about a month. We received Ray Tracing on March 26th. There were many posts about frame drops, it looking better, worse, etc. The opinions ran wild for about a week, then everyone stopped talking about it.

Also it’s an option you can toggle on and off, I don’t really see the problem here.

This was just a “feature” to increase video card sales…the graphical benefit is totally irrelevant. In Diablo 4, which is a game with no content and no variety of builds and which has low popularity, it is even more irrelevant.

Beautiful graphics have never been synonymous with a good or fun game. Unfortunately, many players are immature and silly.

The forum never disappoints.

Yes, not really, not needed.

Not the ray tracing but the night and day random rotation.

Still plenty of shadows in the game even during the night cycles though. There’s no lack of light sources in sanctuary. Again though it’s an option, use it or don’t, not that big of a deal.

In the year 2024… why its not an option that functions 100% for PC and Console Users. Something thats just works and make people happy?

nvidia is paying blizz to use it, so wy not have it, not like you have to use it… relax everyone

i got a 3090 and I play on lowest settings possible cause I care about performance vs pretty things…

Got to give people a reason to use current age video cards in a current age game; people need to feel they spent wisely on a $1500+ video card.

On the other hand, why not have it? Don’t use it if your potato can’t handle it; and if you see no difference, then just leave it off.

It’s really not that big of a deal.
