Raxx to interview D4 developers on 11/4

Just passing this along. They said he can ask anything, we will see.

Two questions I have:

  1. When will the next D4 roadmap be posted.
  2. When do we get an update on the 2nd expansion.

I assume some Qs will be asked about general PTR learnings.

If as has been said/suggested the PTR itemization and systems changes are part of a longer plan, I think it would be fair to ask, ‘what is the thought process behind rolling out only part of the itemization changes without the rest that it’s designed to work alongside?’

I’d also personally love a question about the inconsistent treatment of Teleport: both significantly nerfing the Enchantment while buffing up Leap and not touching Spiritborn, Rogue, and Jah rune mobility – none of which I want to see nerfed, to be clear; and the internal inconsistency with higher base damage per rank but losing ranks from MW change, also losing the x6 Mystic Teleport damage, also losing significant damage from weapon tempers, and Oculus finally made usable but Teleport frequency dramatically nerfed (which it needs for the Galvanization stacks).

It’s rumored the questions are:

What are you thinking?

What were you thinking?

Blink if in trouble!?

But seriously I hope that they just spill the beans to Rax and give us a heads up on what in the world is going on this coming year.

Raxx: When is PoE 2 0.3.4?

Would love to know why did it take 10 seasons to finally start moving the game in the right direction again.
More generally, tell me the vision for the game. Where do you want it to end up.
Or is the goal just more flip flopping?

Raxx is not going to be combative, he knows his livelyhood depends on them. But I believe he knows a lot about the Diablo franchise and will ask some good questions.

Should be interesting, going to be different to rhykker’s.

Just hope Brent’s reference to integrity (leaderboard / cheats context) from rhykkers interview isn’t swept under the rug in the shuffle of people in front of the community.

Raxx: “I wanted to thank you for bringing back the Capstone Dungeons”

He asked they listened.

Season 11 was meant to please one guy. We know…

I’m just ready for them to start working on D5 with a team that gets ARPGs. There’s nothing I’m interested in having get answered regarding this game anymore. Whatever the answers are, they’ll probably be obsolete a year from now.

A bit more than one person are happy to see Capstone dungeons return. It was the best activity D4 had pretty much from day 1.

meh. I always liked strongholds more but doing them every season isn’t as fun anywmore

Fair, I also liked them. Blizzard seemed to do better with handcrafted content than randomized. Which isnt great for an A-RPG.

great - the worst streamer and the one who wants the game ruined - they ought to let me ask the questions about the farce that s11 is shaping up to be - not this PoE fanboy.

I like Raxx but it’s extremely odd he gets the interview, he rarely ever plays d4.

The last couple of Seasons next to nothing I believe. Would much rather see someone who actually knows a thing or two to ask the questions.

I normally do not watch Raxx now that he is mostly into PoE but I am interested to see what the developers have to say.

Ya it should be funny, more puzzled looking Devs saying we can’t talked about that now.I need some Comedy.

Isn’t he on their payroll? #diablopartner program?

I see next to 0 value coming out of this. There’s literally no content creator under the D4 umbrella that is worth listening to if you’re a core ARPG/Diablo fan. Blizzard made sure to alienate everyone early on.

Challenging questions, that could be interesting if true.
