Any one else running low on Rawhide? I know people are running low on iron chunks, but Rawhide is non-exsistant for me.

I think this is going to become a major issue that requires a patch fix, like they just did on angelsbreath and forgotten souls a couple days ago. Strangely, I donāt see many people complaining about it yet, other than a Forbes āmagazineā article from a few days ago on this exact problem.
Forbes Article TLDR: Rawhide is bottleneck, it has been since V of H Beta testing, still not fixed.
Last season you could do a 3 min legion event and get like 900 rawhide. Now itās like 10 rawhide per legion. It takes almost a 1000 to masterwork an item, let alone re-rolling to get the buffs you want. The best event Iāve seen for collecting raw hide are whisper caches. But they only give about ~110 per whisper cache which is ridiculous considering the time it takes to acquire whispers.
Iāve literally salvaged All gear from this season, sold nothing, do all of the different events regularly, completed the dark citadel co-op triad, you name it. I have masterworked very minimally. Even now my stuff is only 4 or 8 out of 12, Iāve barely re-rolled anything. I didnāt even realize it, because Iāve had no issues in previous seasons, but I burned through my rawhide ānest eggā from all the non-stop salvaging from early game and now basically canāt masterwork anything and canāt find any reasonable way to acquire more.
I have: 10K Iron Chunks
14K Obductite
1K forgotten souls
5K Bundled Herbs
10K Veiled Crystals
3K Baleful Frags and Coiling Wards
1.5K Angelsbreath ā¦ETC.
8 RAWHIDE, yes Eightā¦
Utterly bottlenecked with Rawhide!
Would love to hear if someone has a fix for this. I paused Rob2628 latest video on his Spiritborn 1.5 trillion hit and he had like 20K+ rawhide (like I did last season). How is he getting that? Considering all of the masterworking he must be doing to get those perfect rolls? Where is the honey hole!?
All ears for a fix on this.

Preach. Ive done a fair bit of masterworking. My materials are in the thousands (20k for some) for all other materials, currently 118 Rawhide. It 100% needs a buff like the others.

I have multiple thousands of every material. I canāt get above 200 rawhide.

I literally am SO bottlenecked by Rawhide it isnāt even funny. And this is just because Iāve had to reroll 1 affix and reroll tier 1 of upgrades, itās absolutely bonkers. Why was salvaging so messed with this season? You used to get a LOT of the base material when salvaging

i just found my GA pants, succesfully tempered them, started masterworking, rerolled once, rerolled second time, got to 2/12 ā¦ and there is red number under rawhide icon ā¦ ended up here ā¦

Thats what caught me off guard. Rolling my gauntlets, then no Rawhide. Dont remember this happening before.

Another +1. The amount of hide you get for deconstructing armour is pitiful. Especially ancestral uniques!

Truth. Rawhide is like Blizz developers getting something right the first time. Nearly non-existent.

I have like 10.000 of everything but 60 rawhide. Itās a hard wall in progressing my character. Some dev messed up their math in drop-spend calculations.

Literally spend 90% of my time playing farming rawhide. Feels like I barely get to actually enjoy the endgame because the activities I should be doing are the worst sources of common materials.

100000% I HOPE THEY SEE THIS. I have to roll an item 3/3 to get my build Going and its Impossible withbthis rawhide shortage. Going to make me take a break until its addressedā¦ major bottleneck.
+1 This is ruining an otherwise-fun season and expansion. It should be the top priority fix before anything else.

I went masterwork crazy resetting over and over, ran out of rawhide. Then i mouse d over where the game suggested i get more. It was salvaging armor and basements. Did like 5 basements and started salvaging again. No problem. Lots of rawhide
lotsā would have to mean in the multiple thousands given the rawhide cost of masterworking or pretty much anything else you can do with armor. If you got an acceptable rate of drop such that it doesnāt create an end game bottle neck as bad or worse than forgotten souls ever were, then youāve certainly had a different experience than I have. I tried all of the suggested routes and several more. Iām still totally bottle necked and canāt develop my gear because of this one broken resource, and Iām far from aloneā¦
I would like to add my post here for the frustration with lack of mats for Masterworking. Specifically Rawhide
Iām running low on iron chunks of course Blizzard did the Blizzard thing. Maths doesnāt appear to be something theyāre good at theyāre always screwing up balancing with numbers
I didnt even realize rawhide shortages were a thing til yesterday when i ran out. Now i mix in activies and opals that help get more. Cant just do boss runs all day
