During server slam, me and my sister were doing the story together in a party. She was randomly dropped from the party and put at the start of the “chapter”. I’ll try to describe it without spoilers:
You have to speak to an NPC at the start of a library. After that you have to look for an item two rooms away. When we found the item and returned it to the NPC, my sister got removed from the party, and got put back at the start of the library.
You have to repair an elevator. After we repaired it, my sister got removed from the party, and got put back at the start of the previous level.
You have to deliver an item at the base of a big monastery. When we delivered the item, she got removed from the party, and put back at the entrance of the monastery’s zone.
It doesn’t matter who the leader of the party was, it was always her who get booted from the party.
