I just upgraded from a nvidia 2070 super to a Asus Nvidia 4070 dual, and now I get random black screen flickering in the game. I can be sitting idle in town not touching anything and 3 quick random black screens will flicker. This happens any place in the game, its maybe every 5 to 10 minutes. I tried reinstalling latest drivers, disabling gsync, lowering settings to high, and turning my two other monitors off, but it still does it.
Any thoughts? Thank you
I’m having the same issue here. I’m running a 4070 Ti, Drivers are 531.79, Resolution is 3440 x 1440. What i found out that the flickering went down after going down with Screen Refresh Rate from 144Hz to 120Hz. But still…flickering (sometimes hefty)
I just tested a HDMI cable and no flickering, but only 60Hz. Something to do with my 144Hz on DisplayPort. I tried a new cable, still same issue. Someone said in another thread on nvidia that it has to do with voltage issues and pushing 144Hz. So going down to 120hz makes sense it would help. I am about to return this 4070 though, not going to pay this kind of money and not get my 144Hz.
