I have killed Varshan 40 times without it dropping. I know it can drop from Zir but those materials take very long time, and are the worst to get. And only have 3 right now.
Have any got it from NM dungeons. I am soon level 90 and still use the sacred version.
They should not call the new bosses target farm, when you actual can not.

No…I have bought some hearts and collected more materials. Done 40 runs and no chest drop. It’s the only item i still need. Maybe I shall wait until end season I have 60 Zir materials on eternal, maybe i’m lucky there. I am soon level 90, so it bothers me i can not get it.

well just keep trying. it can also drop from nmds.
a good method to get uniques is also doing the vampire event where you spent 150 blood to summon a ton of mobs. usually drops me 2-3 uniques.

Yea did 6 runs of those, but only legendary drops. I could try again

Takes a while. Had the same problem with the boots of esu, took 70 runs to get one.
Hehehe i remember when the malignant ring was put in the game … i grind 80 over round of varshan just to get it… keep trying… dont give up
PS: dont get me started on shako… shako came to me only after AoZ came in…

If we had enough character slots, I would probably have builds showcasing them across my account.
But yeah, I would probably keep max 5 of them for each class. But it’s really a functional thing. I hate having to take stuff off a completed build to another character.
You can not compare Shako to not getting this chest. Since its an uber unique.
Since I wrote this I have tried 20 more kills, and still can not get that chest.
Next season I do not even want to farm these bosses, it’s completely waste of time, and not target farming as they make it sound to be. You can not target farm anything it seems. You might as well get it at a NM dungeon before these bosses drops what you need. And in some cases they don’t.
You spend hours getting the materials to just get bend over afterwards. If the keys where faster to get it was another story, then i would not mind needing to kill them 100 times to get the item, its the key farming that is the main problem.

Varshan worked for me, took 8 runs. RNG can suuuuuuck.
This season I do not even get any unique from other places like NM dungeons and such. It leaves you with a really bad gaming experience. I am 91 and still use the sacred version of the chest. It’s better than nothing but I could use the defence from an upgrade.
I did 7 Duriel runs and got flickerstep, Tibaults will and melted heart. But nearly 60 varshan can not drop a normal unique fro me.
I got my first from varshan but my second one came from doing purple helltide
Yea I am just really unlucky, I have not got a single unique outside of the bosses.
I did get one from the Red Cloaked Horror in the seasonal event.
I have given up, I am clearly not supposed to have it.
well the reason for that is because we clearly do less nmds while farming these bosses. I can promise you, uniques do drop normally from others sources.
Some uniques are rarer than other tho. As i said, it took me a ton of tries to get a lidless wall from zir on my necro. This stuff happens. Best is to not get too worked up over it and take a break from the grind.

true but i am soon 95, so the need of it is sort of gone soon. And sorc will be nerfed to the ground next season the blizzard way to do things. I wanna get to 100 to get the achievement for a level 100 of each class. So I might delete it then to save stash space, if i get the chest i will keep the sorc if not, its gone when hitting 100
Already have deleted 3 level 100, and have 3 level 100 on eternal. The stash space is just not enough to keep them all.
Update: I had 1 zir run and I got it

Don’t do more than 10 in a row on a single day. I’m highly convinced there is a rotating time gate on the loot table and weightings for Varshan.
Shoot if i could give you one i would. I’ve found nearly 8 Raiment of the infinite. I actually snagged one from the mid winter blight when destroying a frigid husk and a treasure goblin was in there.
However I think the one i did get was from Varshan. Keep at it, just RNG being a fickle thing.
