Quit making uber bosses with adds until pets can be ordered to attack them

Varshan summons three adds
Durial summons waves of adds in sets of twos
Echo of Malphas summons pillars which are basically the same thing

Varshan consumes his adds to gain power if not killed fast enough
Durials I think just stay up?
Malphas just becomes nasty in general if pillars are not destroyed

Pets in the current form cannot be controlled to kill these adds, Malphas is a very good example, the Necromancer melee skeletons will stick on Malphas, two of the five skeletal mages will attack a pillar, I can command the golem to attack the pillar every 10-15secs. Other then that nothing else can be done. Either give pet classes the ability to command pets to attack the adds otherwise don’t put adds into these fights.

So do you want these bosses to just fall over with their legs in the air when a player enters their hovel?

Pet builds are broken in this game. Everyone, including blizzard, knows it.

I TRULY hope they are fixed because i would love to do a necro pet build….but i am not hopeful.

Everything already falls over with their legs in the air? This game is extremely easy if your an experienced ARPG player. I only play minion builds and did so again this season and cleared all content solo easily. What I want are fights designed to be fair to all classes and building fights with adds that need to die now when some builds don’t have that option is poor game design.

Fun fact for you, the Necromancer golem cannot even be ordered to kill the Durial adds, it cannot move into the circle they spawn out of so instead it bugs out and just runs circles around the add.

I did not know that. Probably because i switched to blood at level 70ish when i rolled my necro in preseason….because the pet build just wasnt doing well.

This is your experience and I’m sorry it sucks for you. Understandable.

Please note that boss adds are a godsend to a lot of other builds.

I get your frustration. It would be nice if you could actually command your legion of minions versus just simply summoning them.

Here is another way to look at it, imagine if they had adds that take 90% less spell damage and others that take 90% less physical damage. This is pretty much what it feels like being a pet class on these fights with your pets split up all attacking different things with no option to control them.

I already get what you’re saying and agree the situation sucks. I was not attempting to invalidate your thought just because I pointed out that boss adds, even as they are, HELP OTHER builds.

I wish we could control our minions like the game Overlord. That way you can set targets and make sure they don’t stand in puddles. Should be an optional keybind that lets you “move here” or “target this” on mouse over.
