Quick question. Aspect dungeons

Started the new season (6, don’t own the expansion). All of my aspect dungeons that i I had cleared previously and accumulated has been reset. So I now have to re-clear and reacquire all of my aspects that I had for all of my classes.

My question is: Is this on purpose or is this a glitch?

This is how seasons function. All of that progress moved to the eternal realm. In a new season, most of your account progression will start fresh, aside from a handful of QoL things like renown rewards/lilith statues/etc.
