It always started in the middle and we could quickly navigate to the left and to the right (i got you dancin’) which was very “quick” and intuitive.
Why in the deeper shors in hell was this changed? Just for the reason to have anything changed?
What do you people think? Is it more intuitive to start from the left or have the short way to left and right while starting in the precious middle position?
Sorry but making a quick wheel not starting in the middle when theres three positions is the work of a true genius. From hell. To make us suffer even more.

I thought it was just me. I always have my emotes the same on every character. Times when I want to Exit a Dungeon I just keep saying “YES” because it’s in the Upper Left Direction.
It throws me off, I’m hoping they will change it back. Might be some kind of mistake on their part I’m sure.

Yeah, I dislike this. The other way just made sense.
I honestly want to know what #*&$ genius in the dev team thought this was something that needed changing.
Balancing is a
show and every other day there is a new bug or something being disabled but they somehow spent time on something nobody asked for.
It only goes to show how ridiculously out of touch the devs are with the needs of this game.

Same situation here, also, kinda, sorta… It keeps changing for me - one time it will start in middle, next time it starts on right side, then right side, then middle, then middle, etc… Irritating. Typical engineers, if it ain’t broken let’s fix it until it is.

I absolutely hate this with every fiber of my being.

I think it is less of a planned change and more of a glitch. If you notice, the FIRST time you use the emote wheel after starting the game, it starts in the middle wheel. Every time after that, it starts on the left.

Just bind keys, much quicker than dealing with that silly wheel.
needs fired and never allowed to work on video games ever again
I agree but I also wonder why do we have to set the wheel on every character? They all have the same emotes, just a different style but the link should remain the same in each case… It is a pain in the rear to set it with every new toon.

This new bug is so rediculous it could have been in my top 10 joke patch notes for feb which they removed.

I was also starting to wonder if it was just me.
A testing failure for sure, but I doubt that this was intentional because (at least for me) it always starts in the middle page the first time I use it and only on the 2nd and following uses does it start on another page.
I must say that I might not have noticed except for very recently when I started doing ice dungeon (the one just above the bear clan camp) runs to get every witch power - that’s one of the few use cases for me when I’m going to reset the dungeons and immediatley dive back in from the front door.
(Pits would be another use case except that when I get to the stage of running a lot of them I change Cerrigar to be my favorite town and just hit the teleport key instead.)

This is also driving me mad every time I start the game.
this bug demonstrates how the game reads prefetch settings values and snapshots them incorrectly.
the same issue could apply to gear and powers that our character equips.
it’s always good to explicitly unequip and re-equip them before starting to play to ensure they take effect properly.
I had this to i just rebind the ones on the middle to the left one just took a few min problem solved. Weird bugcraft season
No, it’s not “problem solved”. You then have to scroll through two pages to get to your last page. Originally, you started from center and could quickly scroll up 1 time or down 1 time.

ANNOYING - put it back please or give us an option to modify it

I do however believe what someone else posted to be accurate. I think this is a bug, because I too noticed on first use after fresh launch it starts from center, then goes left from then on.
