There’s a short queue to join the game (less than one minute), which is understandable. However, after getting through the queue, the game hangs at “Start Game Pending.”
Based on feedback from Discord, others are experiencing this issue as well.

Same. ABout 2 minutes with the “less than one minute” to wait, and now I’ve been sitting at “Queue for game - start game pending …” for close to 5 minutes

same been playing since the launch no problem at all , then got stuck on a loading screen ( force to alt+f4 ) and now stuck on game pending forever … i waited a good 30mins before trying to join again and still same issue. uninstalling right now and re-installing to see if it fix it.

zero issues other times. restarted game, and pc, Shows 1 minute wait, then just sit there pending. been about 30 minutes/

Was playing just fine. Tried to load into a Dungeon and the game hard locked. I force close the game restarted and tried to log back in. START GAME PENDING…At least Blizzard is consistent(they have Never had a smooth Launch lol)

Also stuck in the “Queued for Game - Start Game Pending” after I tried teleporting to a waypoint and ended up in an endless loading screen. I had to alt+f4 out of it after a few mins of waiting, then was hit with a 300008 error code so I restarted the game and launcher, now i’ve been stuck in this “2 min queue” for the last 15 mins so far. What is going to happen when the full release comes around? Complete lockdown?

Same issue here. I finally got in after letting the “Start Game Pending” sit for around 10 minutes.
Too bad that once I got in my character couldn’t move very far around the zone he was in. Was basically running into an invisible wall in every direction I tried going.
Tried to log out, then back in and got hit with a 10 minute queue this time.

Same, twice now after relaunching D4 after failed to load into Caldera Gate dungeon. screen stuck on “Game Start…pending”.

So I just ran into this issue myself. After about 3-4 minutes, I noticed my timer kept changing from 3 minutes to 20 mins, and that’s not normal. Alt F4, went into Start → Run type in cmd no spaces and hit enter. Then → “ipconfig /release” with no quotes, let it run, then type “ipconfig /renew” no quotes, and then finally “ipconfig /flushdns”. Closed the window, reconnected back to D4 and logged in to the game in under 3 minutes.
Try that out and see if that fixes anything for anyone else.
