Questions about 'increased health' and 'damage resistant' - and more oh my

heya all. so this is sort of a rant, and sort of questions. i guess in the end don’t change ‘increased health’ or ‘damage resistant’ but i do have questions

  1. does anybody know how much extra health ‘increased health’ mobs have? i feel it is like 5x?

  2. does anybody know % of resist ‘damage resistant’ mobs have? i feel it is like 80%?

  3. biggest question i am curious about. if i am doing pits going to each next stage is based on number of kills right? if i kill a ‘increased health’ mob vs. a ‘normal’ mob does it move the kill bar any more? because if not, my next question is should i just run past ‘extra health’ and ‘damage resistant’ mobs to the next pack? so they do not slow me down?

thanks for any answers. i do find these mobs frustrating, but otherwise i kill everything very quickly. but i guess they should not adjust them because there needs to be something that players cannot just one-shot.

i think my biggest gripe is that the way the torment levels are locked behind pit runs needs to be adjusted. i am a casual player and i have never been past torment iii (so this will help to explain where i am coming from). every time i am ready to go to a next torment level i will be running through nightmare dungeons, infernal hordes, etc, but getting to the next torment level because of the way it is locked behind pit levels seems way out of balance.

for instance, i will be in torment i and just running through everything but the pit level to torment ii is still very difficult. by the time i can get through the pit level to torment ii, i am so powerful that now i am running through all the stuff in torment ii. but the pit level to torment iii will still be very difficult. so i work and work and work to become stronger. then i finally finish the pit to torment iii. and now i am just running through torment iii although the pit level to torment iv i am sure will be difficult.

now you can say i need to work on my build etc. but it seems something is out of balance if i am totally overpowered with whatever build i have for all non-gatekeeping pit level content . . . but the pit level to the next torment level of content feels very difficult. so much that by the time i can overcome it i am now overpowered for the next torment.

blah blah balh. sorry this is a wall of text. does it make sense.

i think maybe what i am trying to say is that to get to torment ii, the pit level gate should be 5 levels lower. and same for torment iii, the pit level gate should be 5 levels lower. this way, when i get to the new torment level it will still be a bit challenging.
