[Question] Stacking Legendary Aspects

In hindsight, I have become curious regarding the aspect system in the Codex of Power; specifically the idea of stacking identical Legendary Aspects on a character (i.e. X aspect on both Body Armour and Leg Armour).

While I recognize that some aspects are unique and would not benefit from stacking, I remember receiving one in particular that worked along the lines of “When hit by an Elite enemy, gain 100 Barrier”.

Was anyone been able to test this?

and furthermore, what are peoples thoughts on this? Do you think Aspect stacking should be implemented if it is not already? In my opinion, it would introduce the ability for an individual to specialize their build around having multiple of the same aspects.

Second equipped aspect is gray and doesn’t work.

Yup, as Xelqpla said - the aspects become greyed out when you try to stack them.

Is there one that can be stacked? Probably not but who knows.

Nope.

I believe there were a few very similar ones that stacked in cbt. But no, identical ones don’t stack.

And by similar i mean if you have 2 aspects that increase your barrier, they both apply as long as their condition is different.

If it’s the same aspect the least powerful one will be greyed out.

Best you can get is doubling on a 2 hander or +50% on amulet I believe

Ah, thank you for your response.

I mean, it makes sense that they couldn’t be stacked.

I feel like they should relax this some. Like the necromancer + to skeletal mages and warriors. No idea why that shouldn’t be able to stack.

It would be nice to see some of the more utility aspects become stackable.

the strongest version is always counted, while the weaker version of the same aspect is greyed out

whatever is determined to be the weaker aspect of the same type will not be in effect
