Do you know of any skill of any kind that makes you invulnerable/invincible for a couple of frames? (and that it is not a defensive skill like a shield?)
I only play Rogue, so I’m pretty ignorant in this regard.
I really like using these types of mechanics and the rogue has me a little disappointed about it.
(I think Shadow Step has a couple of frames of this style, but I’ve never tried to check it out.)
Yeah it’s called Flame Shield for the Sorcerer. It’s been nerf.
If you’re looking for a way to use a skill and be immune to the fire on the floor this isn’t the game for you.
I know it, precisely because of so many crying sorcerers, that’s why I say: one that is not a defense skill.
You have to understand that damage calculation is done before animation. So you’ll take damage before the monster even touches you. Give or take how high your Ping is. There’s no iframe in this game nor should there ever need to be. Just move away before the animation occur. Even though the monster aim bot tracking is oppressive.

If no one else answers, I’ll start testing Shadow Step.
It’s not easy to test iFrames with a skill that does damage… I’ll probably need to die a lot (which means farming a lot of gold). I would love to avoid it.
There were iFrames in Diablo 3, and they were spectacular.
If I remember correctly, all movement skills have a very short iFrame, and it felt very good to nail it.
It’s very hard to play Diablo 4 when you’re used to it.
