Hey!, ive just started to get into the trading scene but im concerned on what would happen if unknowingly to me i traded with someone who rmt’d for their gold? main reason for getting into trading is since im starting to get into the stage where doing masterworking/enchanting etc is kinda of expensive now so ive been trying to sell mats etc

Depends I think. IF you got handed a billion gold for free that might raise some questions but if you traded and sold an item for 50m how would u ever know that person RMT. So you are probably ok but def ask questions if something seems fishy. There have been ppl that claimed innocence but got banned from interacting with RMT users.
Knowingly trading with RMT or with $$$ is what gets you in trouble or should in my view.
Blizzard has banned people on the receiving end of gold purchased with RMT even if they didn’t know it. They ban first, ask questions later. Trade at your own risk, and keep screenshots of all your transactions in case you need to prove to Blizzard later that you didn’t cheat.
well, id be a little careful in certain situations. now, dont be overly scared. there were many people who claimed on the forums they just normally traded and suddenly got banned, which i consider to be a lie for reasons.
however, if you just post a wts xyz item, and someone offers you 1b gold. (just an example, i dont know the price ranges) id be a little careful.

Yeah if something was fishy like if they either offered some insane crazy amount for something that makes no sense but im more talking in the realm of trades that arent fishy and the gold so happened to be rmt’ think like if i went into the d4 discord in the trade section and sold some eggs for like 5 mil each or something and it ended up being a 20 mil trade and unknowingly to me that guy rm’t his gold, i wont get smited down by blizzard would i?

IF you do then over half the ppl are at risk at getting banned so I will say no you are fine.
if you genuinely just trade stuff, im pretty certain youll be just fine =)
