I keep hearing that classes are able to use another classes tempering recipe? Is this true or have I been lied to? Would it be worth building a rogue for the crit tempering recipe?
You can slap on any tempered affix you want onto a piece of gear, this is true. As many barbs have been grabbing a rogue tempered recipe to put on their gear.

It’s been mentioned on these forums, but sadly I didn’t pay much attention to it because I don’t play barb. People complained about it in fact, saying they shouldn’t have to farm for a rogue tempering recipe for their barbs.
How can this be done? I have never got a recipe drop outside my class skills and once they were legendary they stopped dropping entirely… Do you have to get them on an alt or something?
i think you need to start a char, and use those recipes for that specific class
Correct you would have to farm it on that class. So you would have to make a rogue. Hence the complaints.
