Question about "Skip Campaign"

Not sure if anyone knows, but with the new expansion out (soon-ish? Hopefully.)
When we make our new season toons and pick “skip campaign”, is it going to skip the dlc as well or just the base story?

If you meant the Skip Campaign button when you create your character, they said it will skip the original game’s campaign and put you right at the start of Vessel of Hated’s campaign.
