Question about skeleton numbers

Soo…i got a shield rhat had the aspect to additional skeletons…which i went to occult vendor to remove…(i had a better shield)…but i added it to my amulet…(which had something I wasn’t going to use… and it increased to three skeletons…i now have 10 total minions not counting the golem…my question is if i find another piece that has that aspect on it, can I then add it to my suit to increase my number to by two more for total of 12? What is the max number of skellies you can have?

Thanx All

+3 from amu and +2 from other gear. So +5 should be max. I play with 6 cold mages and 6 reapers.

Only one asepct will be active if they are the same. There are 2 aspects that increase the number of minion, 1 for mage and 1 for warrior. You can use them togheter to a maximum of +5 minion since only one of them can occupy the amulet slot. So the maximum number of minion excluding Golem is 12 or 13 if you use the +1 skeleton modifier in book of the dead.

yeah just found a helm with the same thing on it and tried it…still only 11…not using the +1 skeiies because i need the reapers to produce corpses

but yeah didn’t work like i wanted

Nope, you can’t repeat aspects, so the current max minions for the necro, unless they add some unique or other aspects in future seasons/expansions, is 14 if you are using skirmishers or 13 if you are using other skels.

I recommend you put the + 2 mages on the amulet to get the extra mage so you have 6 skels (7 skirmishers), 6 mages and the golem as mages deal far more damage and can replenish your essence.

Amulet increase the power of an aspect by 50% while a two handed increases the power of an aspect by 100%.
It’s why using a two hander is better in the vast majority of cases for almost any build unless you need the extra legendary power or you want to use a shield for a thorn minion build.
(You can’t use the extra minions on weapons so can’t get a 4 extra mage aspect, shield counts as armor rather than weapon)
