I was just wondering, do you get all the stat/leg bonuses from your bow even if you are a pure dagger/sword build? Meaning, do you benefit from all the bonuses applied by the bow? Or a unique for that matter. Like if I used the eaglehorn, would I get the physical dmg increase, crit chance increase, etc… It appears to be the case… but I’m also wondering if you get access to the special leg/uniq ability? I’m pretty sure you do, I just wanted to make it crystal clear, sorry for the bothersome topic, I’m sure it has come up a billion times, but I wanted it answered so I’m super sure.
The short answer is yes. The longer answer is if you have Eaglehorn equipped, but you are using only twisting blade then there is nothing for the legendary aspect to buff because it is a buff for penetrating shot. As far as all the passive stats like crit chance, phys dmg, etc. All of that will apply to any of your attacks.
Oh, yeah I knew that was the case with the leg/uniq stat on eagle, but it’s passive stats are so good, it’s hard to turn down. It might even outweigh another leg stat. I mean, look what it has, physical dmg, vuln dmg, ELITE DMG, and 10% crit chance BASE. I mean, MAYBE there is a stat out there that can compete with that. If you have an opinion, I’d like to know, my current build is puncture, twist, poi trap, shadowclone, shadow imbue, and dash. I’d appreciate any help.
Pretty much the best in slot rolls you can get on your crossbow/bow for almost any build would be Crit dmg, Vul dmg, Core dmg, and Dex(or all stats).
The stats on the Eaglehorn are not bad by any means, however you can find a “Rare / Yellow” bow with similar if not better stats. If you are a melee, and have 0 reasons to use the bow. An aspect would be 100% better to have then a unique passive for a skill you aren’t using.
