I thought Rathma was immortal but he got taken out by Inarius. If Elias is able to be immortal using Rathma’s ritual spells. What makes him special compared to the maker of the spell? Only part of the story that annoyed me out of all the acts. I think they did Rathma dirty sadly.
Maybe the immortality is only the ageless part, because normal angel and demon are immortal, but can still be killed.
True but Elias kept coming back every time we killed him until we burned his finger. This is why I’m like WTH happened here with the story. I hope he comes back and only played dead to fulfill his part of the prophecy.
Rathma is a Necromancer. Necromancers don’t take death seriously so he just died.
Rathma was immortal anyway as the first nephilem. He could still be murdered, though, and his rituals were for the mortal necromancers that came after him to aid the flow of life and death.
Necromancers don’t cheat death as they believe in balance. At least, the priests of Rathma do. To do so would upset the very nature they are sworn to protect.
Immortality is the ability to live forever; eternal life. What your looking for is invulnerability.
I wonder if Rathma has still a role to play he is a necromancer as said already here, death is just one way.
We have not seen his “boss” Trag’ol ingame yet aswell.
I hope he still has a role to play.
Why did he have the key to begin with?
Is there more to it as Lilith said a key to open more than the gates of hell? Or was it just a metaphore for her to get a new chance to achieve what she wanted.
I just wish there was more unique class dialouges in the game how the Necromancer in D3 aknowledge the necromancer npcs.
Our Necromancer in D4 did not much as flinch to Rathmas death,it was not like he was the first of our kind^^
Maybe Nyrelle and Mephisto go back to Kurast where he was as strongest and hatred lingers. Maybe Rathma sends us to her whereabouts?
