I have some quest items in my inventory, but I have no idea who to turn them into. How do I check who they belong to?

Yeah if they don’t mention actual quest detail it’s hard to see who they belong to, another oversight by Devs sadly.

They take up space, cannot drop them, cannot sell them and I have no idea who to give them to.
Check your map? Typically the items I’ve gotten that require turn in put markers on the map on who/where to take it to.
Check it isn’t a different zone. I’ve also seen weird behavior with markers not showing up on the map unless I’m in the same zone. In some cases I even have to be nearby-ish (helltide chests) within the zone for it to appear properly. Zoom also matters, too zoomed out and it doesn’t show.

Quest log to care of it.
Review your quest log (J). It should tell you if it’s either ready to turn in or if you still need to do something related to the item.
