Just got lidless wall and really enjoying it but now I want bonestorm to be active as long as I can have it.
I have a couple Osseous Gale Aspects and I’m currently running both corpse explosion and corpse tendrils with the auto corpse skill cast but my question is do the corpses consumed by them count towards the Osseous Gale? Or does it consume them all for itself to increase the duration?
When in doubt, go with the Worst Case Option. This would mean that Osseous Gale does not work at all because there are no corpses to consume.
The second worst case option is that they are separate and that effects how the other stuff in your build works.
This is why people like WT1. You may not get XP for it but go to WT1. Place the aspect on an item that you will keep for awhile as well as can put the current aspect back on. Keep the item unequipped and cast Bonestorm. Count the seconds. Equip the item and cast Bonestorm. Count the seconds. If it stays up 5 or more seconds longer, it is the second option. You will have to switch your aspects around but… If it does not stay up longer than 5 seconds, it does not work with your build. So, you can put the first aspect back on the item.
Why does this in WT1 - so that you do not die from a random mob while doing the experimenting. Also, this allows you to see how the rest of your build is effected by the change with little risk of dying.
Do you happen to know the priority of the corpses consumed? I’m pretty sure with my setup corpse tendrils will proc first then corpse explosion. I’m wondering when I annihilate a group of mobs and make a dozen or more corpses which skill or aspect will consume the corpses first?
Nope and that is another reason for testing the full effect in WT1. Just keep swapping out stuff and pay attention to what is happening. As before, I always presume the worst case will happen.
