Hey guys. I am new to pet ownership, so I’m not too sure if this is just me being unfamiliar with pets in general. My dog hasn’t eaten anything and I don’t know how to feed him. Will he be ok? I don’t think I’ve seen him drink water either. I don’t want him to pass out or anything. Am I missing something?

No you don´t have to care about him anything. He will care himself just fine.
They eat gold and mats, than poop them in your inventory.

My cat just stands in the middle of Lilith waves like a champ. Lack of food and water is nothing for them.

In my experience, dogs eats things that you’ve promised to others. You know, home work / borrowed things / money owed to others. So go around and try to obtain these things.
If you watch carefully…you can see Dog take mouthfuls of the flesh of Hellbourn and drink from the blood of the Fallen. If in doubt…go to the Imperial Library…the good archivists there leave out bowls of water for the pups.
Just remember, help control the animal population, have your pet spayed or neutered

I actually think op could be on to something here. Why not have us water and feed and pet our pets? Im serious! Then they could level to 50 and gain some cool skills. Maybe different water drinks and foods can drop from enemies and you can then get legendary water and food or unique ect. This could be fun. I really dont mean this as a joke.

Well, Look at it this way you won’t have to worry about stepping in something, or cleaning up after him/her. Or any chewed up socks or shoes. Don’t get me started about vet visits.
Your doggo is a multi-dimensional uber canine which is immune to harm as they have explored galaxies, heaven, hell and experienced all the universe has to offer.
After exploring the cosmos, etc, they just want to gobble up materials and gold so they have joined you in your Sanctuary shenanigans. They do not need you and certainly don’t need you to care for them. They just stick around cos they love rooting around in gold and crafting mats.
