According to reddit, max ilvl roll is 850. Can someone confirm? I do have 814 ilvl 2 handed weapon. The other question is that I saw a photo of a 8 open socket (os) 2 handed weapon somewhere a while back (maybe it was alpha or beta I don’t know), Is there an 8 os 2 handed weapons (though ultra rare) in game??? A two handed sword with 8 sockets? I don’t think so. I am sure if a picture existed it would have been talked about before, or someone would have a screen shot. Who knows though?

The picture I saw for an 8 os 2 handed weapon was for a rare weapon. it’s suppose to be uber godly to find. Maybe it was during alpha I don’t know.
Max ilvl roll is 820. There are 15 rare elites in the world that drop “special rares” with only 3 affixes that can get up to 850 ilvl, but only those 15 items.
The 8 socket weapon i have no idea, maybe an alpha item or something
8 socketed item is mostly likely from alpha when they were experimenting with a runewords system. They said it wasn’t working out how they intended but they are still working on a runewords system to work within the frame of the game
As far as ilvl there are many reports of 830’s and 840’s max was 846. That’s why I’m thinking it’s 850. What’s your source that it’s 820 max and 15 rares only that drop those ilvl? As far as 8 os weapon, maybe it was alpha photo.
