Question about damage buckets

something not clear for me is [x] % 1 bucket or every passive with [x]% a bucket of their own ?

is cut to the bones [x]% bleeding damage = 18% bleeding damage to the [x] bucket
or is it another multiplier of 18%

This is why you are confused - Neither is true. Please Explain.

The known buckets are Main Stats, [X] Percent Damage, Attack Speed Bonus, Critical Strike, Additive Damage, and Vulnerable Damage. So, the source of the 1% determines which bucket it goes into. Likewise, the source of the passive damage determines which bucket it is in.

Because it effects Vulnerable, Cut to the Bone would be in that bucket. Outburst and Tough as Nails both add Thorns. However, there is no known Defense damage bucket. So, it should fall under Additive Damage but…

they said to know if it’s a multiplier or additive damage you activate advanced tool tip and look for the [x]

you tell me the 18% bleeding damage from cut to the bone is only added to the additive damage bucket ? and not a X 1.18 of the total bleeding damage ?

i could find better place for the skill point then .

and if it is x 1.18 of all the damage my question is if i have another bonus that is +[x] 8% damage with a two hand sword

is it additive to the [x] bucket so my total bleeding damage would be multiplied by 1.26 or it is 1.18 x 1.08 so total bleeding multiplied by 1,27

If you read it again, I stated that Cut to the Bone effects the Vulnerable bucket. As such, it would not effect the total bleed unless all bleed had vulnerable attached to it.

I did state that Outburst and Tough as Nails (both give Thorns which damages them when you are hit) should go in the Additive bucket. It is each as a separate entry. 18% would be 1.18 and 8% would be 1.08. for a total of 1.27.

oh yeah forgot about the vulnerable part of cut to the bone sory

so if i have 250% vulnerable damage is it 268% for the bleeding damage when vulnerable or is it another multiplier of 1.18 for the bleeding damage when they are vulnerable ?

go to options, go to advanced tooltips, you should find one that tells you which is valid. I go by multiplies unless told otherwise. So, it would be 1.18.
