I was wondering if in the case of a physical copy version of D4 for PS5 is it required to keep the disc inserted at all times while you play just like you do with other games.
Or is it the same as for pc where you activate it on your accound and you can download it from anywhere after?
I am aware this is a dumb question but i never had a Diablo in console before and i immagine how annoying it would be to always have to leave the cd inside.
This is not a dumb question at all.
Just like every other game you need the disc to play the game unless you buy the digital…
It literally is a horrible question
If you don’t want to have to have the CD in at all times, why aren’t you just buying the digital version?
I was just asking to know if i can have the disc in my collection without having the bother of using it every time. On pc it works like this
I had no idea that discs even existed anymore.
I have same similar question. And this is why I have dilemma.
PC doesn’t have any discs for D4, the license is directly linked to the B.net account… and B.net will continuously check to make sure there is a valid license on PC.
If you’re using the disc on console then the disc is your license and must be kept in the console in order to continue playing at all times.
Edit: The PS4 physical edition also comes with a free PS5 upgrade(digital version) but it will almost definitely work like other PS5 upgrades where you still need the PS4 disc inserted to even download and/or launch the PS5 version.
Thank you for the clarification
No it won’t be a problem. As soon as you start playing D4, you won’t be playing any other game so your disc can stay in your xbox eternally. Problem solved.
