I came back to the season recently after quitting and noticed im not getting barely any ancestral jewelry. Is this because its intended to farm tunnels? I wouldn’t know as I haven’t done any at all. Just wondering if drop rates seem to be higher in tunnels since jewelry is technically part of the season oddly enough.

In this case it’s literally just RNG. You get the roll to see if it’s Sacred. If not, then it rolls to see if it’s Ancestral. If not, it’s regular. What makes it super painful is that it’s excruciatingly hard to get the affixes you want on jewelery and rerolling even just a couple of times on the same piece of jewelery is prohibitively expensive. I’m not sure why they set the costs so high on those slots, but they really need to come down.
Just keep hunting and you’ll see some ancestral amulets jewelery drop.
I personally am finding jewellery to be a nightmare this season… Not only do you need the majority of stats to be in your favour but you also need the malignant socket to be the right colour. Lvl 83 and been rocking the same neck since lvl 50…

I think I’ve had my amulet for almost 50 levels now. Once I get a second Barber heart (that doesn’t have such a short duration that it’s useless) I’ll be in a better position regarding amulets since I won’t need to worry about socket color.
NMD seem to be the best really, with the high density update you’ll get a lot more loot but RNG will always play a factor, you can also check the jeweller as they’ll often have ancestral items, but again RNG…
Yeah I’ve been tying to look for some rings with the colour I need so I can do the same, unfortunately both of them have aspects which are also tied to RNG… Game seems to want me to play a minion build cause that’s all I’m getting
