It says log in now to receive a quest to when complete will grant you a pet. However when i logged in there is no quest. Where do i get that quest?

The patch today adds the quest, it is releasing now for all platforms

What does the pet do? Pick up gold and materials?
It’s a pet/companion, keeps you company.
