I get a message in bold red letters “Cannot progress due to party’s campaign state.”
I’ve tried resetting dungeons. I’ve tried changing difficulties, Even ran a scan on the game and its still the same. HELP!!!

I fixed this issue by switching to Torment 1 difficulty. Try that. pretty sure the content is locked behind that difficulty

It would be nice to get a message “Torment 1 minimum required” rather than a generic complaint about “campaign state”. /sigh

Don’t mean to nerco, but thanks, same issue; thought that might have been it but looked before I lazily leapt. Would have been easier to just try than look it up, LOL. 
So I just got a bug that is different from everyone here but figured I would voice my frustration here anyways. Not like Blizzard will see it or do anything. So I was saving this side quest specifically to play it with a friend. My Brother was late starting the expansion due to Hurricane Milton and he was just doing everything because he thought I had done everything. I had no idea that he had started this quest when I joined him. I joined him when he was headed to speak with the guy that tells you about the mountain. When he went to climb the mountain he could climb it but it was not able to be interacted with by me. I went to town and then spawned on him thinking “Meh it was a minor bug” well little did I know that this was literally screwing me. He continued on and by the time he got into the nexus I realized it was the Dark Citadel. I left the game and rejoined only to see that this quest had been skipped and I could not speak with Zyanya to get all the Dark Citadel caches and now I cannot get the quest to reset or anything. How do I get this quest back as it has now updated to be the Dark Citadel Community Challenge. Blizzard I beg of you, PLEASE RESPOND TO ME AND ADVISE ME OF WHAT TO DO.

My friend also is having this issue, Zyanya is not showing up and the state of the Nexus is like after you complete the quest sans the cache vendor and entrances to enclave, etc.
They now also have the community challenge quest.
I really hope they patch it soon.
