Quest: Chasing Embers; Search the Scar for Blackweald Company with Torben.
The area is highlighted on the map in the Scar, but there are no Blackweald mobs, nor are there any interactive items to advance the quest.
Attempted fixes: Dropped quest and re accepted. No fix Failure. Close Game, restart, no fix failure. Searched surrounding area, thinking highlighted area may be incorrect. no fix failure.
As of now I have cleared the area 6 times, with no quest spawns.
I am also having this issue. The recent patches didn’t resolve the issue either.
I did finally get them, but not sure what, if anything, I did differently. Keep trying.
Definitely glitched though.
That’s so annoying though. I’ve been working on that quest, on and off, for a week now.
I am also having this problem. I have covered every inch of that area, left and returned and still no quest progression.

Run around The Scar a dozen times, no Blackweald Company to be found. I hope this quest doesn’t lead into others, 'cause it doesn’t look like I’l ever get there.
At the top of one of the edges, there is a burning fire. There you find a log and a nearly dead npc. Just talk to the npc.

Not solved for me… I go to the location where the pyre is supposed to be and there’s no pyre, nobody to interact with. I tried changing tiers (that sometimes reset bugged quests) but no luck.
During the Mission Torben disappeared. I opened a portal to the Goose, abandonded the quest, accepted id anew and teleported back to the questarea and Torben appeared. Only then could I interact with the wooden log. Torben needs to be present.

Could not interact with anything at the Pyre. Left game, then logged back in and was able to complete.
I left the game then logged in again. My character was still near the pyre, but Torben suddenly appeared and I was able to intetact with the burning debris. I could then speak with Torben and continue the quest.
Same problem, I was on spot but no interactable object. Teleported back to city, straight back and it fixed itself.
Mount your house ride in and out at bottom right had corner will say in yellow torben is not following you ride back in area then will say torben is following you again when he appears go to the burning tree near the top of cliff then will work, hope this helps as was happening to me.
