Quality texture?

I have a gtx 960 4gb and 8gb of RAM, in my game I can only set the texture quality to low and medium, how do I RELEAS high and ultra?

chances are you cant, as the gpu you are using most likely is hitting the minimum requirements.

New computer. The $500 model in the link is probably bare minimum to get to high texture.

How much VRAM do I need to release the options?

A new computer amount

How many times are you going to post the same thread?

There’s this thing called: Upgrading your Hardware.

I have a very mid computer with a decent mid gfx card and it runs med/high quite well.
Bought it cheap on a cyber Monday deal via newegg.
Grand total: 700 with tax.
You want “Ultra” … google and/or tech/gaming forums for builds and specs, as well as $cash$ are your friend.

You need a new pc or videicard. A GTX 960 isn’t cutting edge technology.

As many times as I want

Your GTX 960 appreciates the devs not allowing you to abuse it.

I didn’t ask if my hardware is outdated or not, I asked how many GB VRAM or RAM I need to ENABLE the options in the game

for all i can say with my very limited tech experience; my nvidia 2070 super runs stuff pretty nicely, even demanding games like cyberpunk or horizon forbidden west.

this graphic card was pretty affordable already like 4 years ago, now it should be even cheaper i guess

Based on the system requirements of D4, you barely meet the minimum requirements. You’re going to want at least 6GB of VRAM and 16GB of RAM if you’re going to want to go higher.

Extra vram or ram won’t do it for you. Your GPU is very old and cannot run what you want.

mind explaining what vram actually does? i mean i googled it, but honestly, i still have no clue hah.

Taking the post seriously, you would have to find out if there is a way for the game not to detect what graphics you are using, but if you do that, you won’t be able to complain about graphics problems or complain about your graphics being ruined.

Also, it is against forum rules to create duplicate threads.

Imagine that it is extra memory to save files necessary during the execution of a program. It is exclusive ram for graphics.

My god, you don’t understand, I run Diablo with my configuration all on medium at 70 fps with fsr on… I play calmly… what you don’t understand is that the game needs X amount of VRAM or RAM, I don’t know, to RELEASE the HIGH and ULTRA options

oh, so basically you limit your ram to presave some graphic files to ease up the load on the graphic card then? thanks =)

Did you download the game with high resolution textures?
(Just to rule out the obvious)
The game is 50 GB without the extra textures (90 GB with the textures)
