If you’re going to be taking questions from the players for your next Q&A Campfire Chat, take them from the forums and not Twitter or Reddit.

They will just cherry pick the ones the ones they want to answer. Doesn’t matter where they get them.

Then, they will just implement the easiest/cheapest ideas.

That wouldn’t help tbh. There’s no “good place” for d4 feedback. These forums have an army of people who still say the release was fine and everyone complaining is just a crybaby.

IMO when you see all the streamers who literally play this as their full-time job, and they all have shared complaints, that’d be a good place to start.

Or they can literally just…play the game…and see some glaring issues.

EXAMPLE: There’s no possible way someone on the dev team made a character, grind/geared it, got to Masterworking and was able to masterwork their gear properly (not 100% perfect, just first MW hitting correct mod) and said “YUP THIS FELT GOOD”

EDIT: And that same dev has to also get 3 Mythic uniques to add to their spark to be able to craft the one they actually want.

Show me the person who accomplished that and said “I saw no issues along the route”, and you’ll have your problem.

They have pulled from the forums in the past, but the last campfire was just Twitch chat only. Suspect it was because the CM had covid and they had a last minute format change. Hopefully next campfire will pull from more sources.

Question: Will you make different body composition for all classes? I dont want my necro to look like a wartime refugee… d2 and d3 had idealic body types

lol i was judging the first time i boot up the game and was going through the customization. I was like: “WTF? Druids a fat, Sorc dress like a drag, Necros are famished refugees, Barbarians are on steroids; only proper ones are Rogues.”

Now we have mercenaries coming up and they ALL look awful. They look like the homeless i see when i took a trip to Los Angeles.

I google searched D2R and D3 mercenaries and they look so cool! Civilized, proper, professionals.

I love QaA from players and fire chat in general. It is just longer commercial.

“look Kathy there we have a question from random D4 player called Notablizzardemployee 47”

“what is he asking John?”

“Dear devs, will be D4 amazing after DLC like it is now? Much love”

“Excelent question! No it will be even better, stay tunned for warcry for everyo… I meant runes. Dammit!”

They should do a Q&A outside of the campfire chat. Let’s use reddit and the most upvoted questions will be answered. So they can’t cherrypick and foor once might be hold responsible for what they are doing and messing up and doing well. Sure it takes some very big ultra hard balls to do this but I’m sure they have a ( at least metaphorical) pair… or not.

Actually to be fair while Los Angeles has lots of issues the homeless look bad anywhere however the worst anywhere according to google is New York " Cities with the largest homeless populations in 2023
