Hey folks. Leveling a rogue for pvp on eternal server.
I’m curious what rogues are doing for their TB pvp setup. Are most people going all physical damage? Do people use two imbuements? WHICH imbuement or combination of them stand out?
I was thinking possibly ice and poison. What makes one better than the other?
I have Doombringer and Andarial’s if that’ll work well. Whats uniques are must-have on a pvp TB rogue?

2x Shadow step aspect manitory.
If all phys, you want max crit strike chance to keep opponents knocked down for CC.

Besides re-roll Barb or Sorc for the current meta (even in eternal?) Seriously, will save you some headache given how far behind we are currently.
The main thing is you should carry around 3 sets of jewelry at any given time. One to fight other poison rogues, one to fight fire sorcs, and one to fight barbs. Change gear depending on who is in the zone.
You will need some type of energy generator. Umbral is bad for PvP. Energizing, Assimilation, Tibaults are all worthy contenders.
Do not use bursting venoms in PvP.
Concealment is usually manditory to break CC, but this is not neccesarily the case/useful against fire sorcs. But is the case vs rogue and barb.

I play on Eternal as a rogue too. I’ve had lots of luck using the new Explosive Glyph. It doesn’t work with exposure but I found a work around.
Must have unique items would be Tiabults Pants and Condemnation Dagger for the Combo Point Bug. Other than that you can use whatever you like, the more Ubers you have the better IMO.
Somehow I either perma stun barbs or they just can’t target me.
Aspect of Surprise (stun grenades when evade, LOW damage).
Opportunist Aspect (stun grenades when break stealth, HIGH damage).
Aspect of Lethal Dusk (evade through shadow imbued enemy grants stealth and 5% max life heal per kill for 5 seconds)
Those three aspects allow me to evade into barbs or whatever after I shadow imbue them, usually by using conceal and hitting them with TB, which stuns them due to grenades breaking stealth.
Then I evade into them to go stealth again and drop grenades. Then I hit them with basic attacks and TB and evade again. Breaking stealth each time adds 4 more grenades, each around 100k damage. Evade grenades only do 30-40k.
I also use poison imbuement, obviously. Too good not to use it. Shadow step and conceal for 2 CC breaks.
Haven’t lost yet since using this build and I’ve fought at least 10-20 different players last week. Eternal server is getting crowded lately!
Some rogues do lots more poison damage than me but I’ve managed to never get one shotted by anyone yet, conceal heals a lot as well.

Are you able to beat the high HP barbs with this? I still can’t figure out how to kill them with Rogue.

Yeah eternal has gotten crowded somewhat in the fields of hated compared to a month ago. I used to grind grim favors and never see anyone in the fields, now I’m almost always attacked purifying seeds haha.
I seem to get the idiot barbs lately that for whatever reason aren’t unstoppable? I don’t get it, I thought they were near perma unstoppable but stun grenades just destroy them.
I have a short low res video dominating one foolish Barb recently, this was his second attempt trying to get me.
How do you deal with thorns barbs? I have 10k armour, 56% dmg reduction against close and still, 3 of my hits is all it takes to self kill from thorns. That’s without the barb even attacking me, just standing there so I can see how many hits I can get in before dying. If he where to atk he’d just one shot me
