there should be some kind of level cap. I’m level 73 and although ive only done the pvp area 4-5 times as ive been doing other parts of the game to level. but every time ive done it ive just been 1 shot by someone 20 levels higher than me. there should be some kind of level cap or power comparison like when you enter the pvp zone your character is level 95 you can only see people from 85-100. a level 95 should not be able to just openly attack a level 70. the last time i did pvp a level 96 came over while i was doing the ritual and just stood there while i attacked him for a few seconds then hit me 1 time with not even a skill and killed me. im all for pvp but some sort of fairness would be nice.
PvP right now is who’s the higher level, not who has the better skill. Blizzard knows how to make PvP more fair based on their experience from WoW and standardizing gear/levels. I’m really enjoying the PvP aspect, but getting destroyed by someone 5-30 levels above me makes me lose interest.
Pretty much sums it up. We will see if pvp is any good at max level where combatants are of equal level.
Kind of agree. I decided to try it out at level 50 but there was a level 70 necromancer basically RP walking through the area as his minions killed everyone in less than 2 seconds. Pretty lame.
I hope, but even then, the level 100 player with 200 hours of play time will probably be out geared by the level 100 player with 1000 hours of play time due to RNG and loot probabilities. Maybe not, but I suspect unless there’s some equilibration changes to PvP, it will be totally one sided which is a shame.
They’re doing this because the rewards in nightmare pvp is the same as torment pvp. So easy earnings. It’s a design flaw, I don’t think Blizzard did any real testing outside wt1/2.
You will never get fair PVP in an ARPG power fantasy game. Its why no one ever plays PVP content in these games. Not sure why they wasted resources on it, and have it occupying two zones that could have been put to better use. They even confirmed in the fireside chat that nearly no one is pvping.
